Today, the farm remains largely as it stood in the late 19th century and is operated as a museum farm with organized educational activities.
Vistneshyttå- Open Cabin
The cabin is open year-round and is designed to be accessible to everyone. With its beautiful coastal views and the possibility of lighting a fire during winter, it makes for a wonderful destination throughout the year.
Tungenes fyr
Tungenes marks the northernmost point of Jæren and the beginning of the sea route into Stavanger. A lighthouse was established here in 1828.
Randabergfjellet
Although, at 70 metres above sea level, it may not be Norway’s highest mountain, Randabergfjellet offers magnificent 360-degree views.
Randaberg Water Tower
The viewpoint is located above Varen and is a short walk from the town centre. At the top you will find the water tower, a playground structure, benches, and a bunker. From the summit you have a panoramic view of the sea, and on clear days you can see all the way to Kvitsøy in the northwest and Rott in the southwest. There is also a large grassy area here.

VISTESTRANDA
Vistestranden is a beautiful sandy beach located by Viste Strand Hotel, about two kilometers from Randaberg town center.
At Viste you will find a recreational area and the bathing beach Vistestranden. With both a sandy beach and grassy areas, a ball court, and walking paths, Vistestranden is a great place to bring the family, both on warm summer days and throughout the year. The shallow beach makes it ideal for launching kayaks. If you want to jump or dive, there is a pier a little further north of the beach.To the right of the beach you will also find a pier with a diving platform.

SANDESTRANDA
Sandestranden is a beautiful sandy beach with sand dunes.
The beach is located four kilometers from Randaberg town center in the direction of Tungenes Lighthouse.
Sandestranden, near the green village of Randaberg, is a sandy beach with fine-grained white sand. It invites swimming, sunbathing, and water play on pleasant summer days. The beach is family-friendly. Sandestranden is also a great starting point for coastal walks; for example, you can walk to Tungenes or to Børaunen.
On windy days, you will often see people kiting or surfing here.
RANDABERGBUKTA
Randabergbukta is a small and beautiful sandy beach on the eastern side of Randaberg. The bay is also part of the coastal hiking trail that goes around Randaberg.
On nice summer days, Randabergbukta is a great sandy beach for swimming. It is also popular for snorkeling, as the water inside the bay is not very deep. Here you can see everything from shore crabs and small fish to larger fish and crabs, and if you are lucky, even a seal.It is important to always be careful when snorkeling.

At Randaberg Golfklubb, you’ll find a beautiful 9-hole course along with excellent practice facilities. The club offers a putting green located right by hole 1, a 6-hole short course, and a covered driving range.
