Vistestranden
A beautiful sandy beach by Vistestrand Hotel, located around two kilometres from the centre of Randaberg- the perfect place for your next Sunday walk.
Sandestranden – Beach
Sandestranden is a beautiful sandy beach with natural sand dunes, perfect for relaxation, swimming or as a hike.
Harestadmyrå – Park
At Myrå, you will find a sheltered picnic area (gapahuk) with barbecue facilities, a playground and outdoor fitness park, as well as several benches where visitors can relax.
Tungenes fyr
Tungenes marks the northernmost point of Jæren and the beginning of the sea route into Stavanger. A lighthouse was established here in 1828.
Randabergfjellet
Although, at 70 metres above sea level, it may not be Norway’s highest mountain, Randabergfjellet offers magnificent 360-degree views.
Grøderøysa – Old King grave
Grøderøysa is the largest long barrow in Rogaland. When it was measured in 1898, it was recorded as being 38.5 metres long, 9 metres wide, and 2.5 metres high.
Vistneshyttå- Open Cabin
The cabin is open year-round and is designed to be accessible to everyone. With its beautiful coastal views and the possibility of lighting a fire during winter, it makes for a wonderful destination throughout the year.
Vistnestunet – Historic farmstead
Today, the farm remains largely as it stood in the late 19th century and is operated as a museum farm with organized educational activities.
Vistehålå Cave
At Viste you will find Vistehola (Svarthola), one of the oldest Stone Age settlements in the region. Vistehola was likely formed during the last Ice Age
Randaberg Water Tower
The viewpoint is located above Varen and is a short walk from the town centre. At the top you will find the water tower, a playground structure, benches, and a bunker. From the summit you have a panoramic view of the sea, and on clear days you can see all the way to Kvitsøy in the northwest and Rott in the southwest. There is also a large grassy area here.
